Project Wedding: A Mock Wedding Experience

What Is Project Wedding?
Project Wedding will be a unique experience for brides and vendors alike. We have re-structured the “expected” bridal show into something that will leave a positive, informative and fun footprint for everyone involved. The bridal show has evolved!

Engaged couples can enjoy an evening filled with inspirations for their dream wedding.

Attendees will be a wedding guest at the Mock Wedding of The Century! Attendees will experience what it's like to have a wedding at The Century; be exposed to a new outlook on wedding design and decor, enjoy a fashion show, browse local wedding vendors, gain valuable knowledge in wedding specific workshops and so much more!

Project Wedding 2017 was such a fun event for The Century team to design and create; we took a stroll in an enchanted forest. We are ready to wow guests again for our 2018 version!

For 2018, we are walking you through the Summer of Love; a Bohemiam Love.

Attendees will enjoy a champagne welcome while they browse our beautiful building in downtown Modesto. They will continue the extraordinary evening as they strike a pose in the photo booth, sip on delicious cocktails, savor small delectable bites, and enjoy harmonious music in a wedding setting envisioned and designed by the century team. Attendees will chat with a team of wedding experts in one of our wedding workshops and shop amazing wedding vendor booths. Attendees will be blown away by a fascinating fashion show with all of the latest wedding fashion trends.

Attendance includes: One glass of champagne, two signature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, desserts, tote bag of goodies and a visual experience that will leave guests inspired for their magical day. All of this for the small price tag of $40 for attendees. Adults only.

3:00pm Doors Open (check in, bar, appetizers, photo booth, venue & vendor booth browsing)
4:30pm Mock Ceremony (attendee experience)
5:00pm Wedding Workshops (four workshops; new topic every 15 minutes)
6:00pm Fashion Show (bridal, tux, bridal party, lingerie)
6:30pm Door Prize Winners Revealed (attendees claim prizes at vendor booths)
6:45pm Questions & Answers On Main Stage with The Century
7:00pm Show Concludes

*We have very limited space for vendors for this show. Completing this form does NOT guarantee your reservation as an exhibitor at our show. The fee to host a 15-minute wedding workshop is $100. Your workshop must be focused on a topic beneficial to a couple planning their wedding. During your workshop you have the opportunity to preface your business brand. This is great exposure to your company!
This can be anything from wedding budgeting to design trends to wedding etiquette, etc.
Creating an out-of-the box wedding experience

THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between Erin Doran, Doran Industries, LLC DBA The Century (hereinafter “The Century”) as defined in this Agreement, and the Vendor or persons responsible for the event/wedding business, (hereinafter referred to collectively as “The Exhibitor”). This Agreement is made between The Century and The Exhibitor for a bridal show, Project Wedding.

If this Agreement is cancelled by The Exhibitor for any reason, or by The Century, more than four weeks prior to show date, The Exhibitor shall receive a full refund of any payments made. Any claims for loss by The Exhibitor are limited to the amount paid to The Century. The Exhibitor agrees there is no refund of any payments made to The Century once we are at least three weeks prior to show. If, for any reason beyond the control of The Century, the show is not held, The Century will refund the full amount paid to The Century.

The Exhibitor booth must be set up during the designated show set up time prior to the show. Set up will be on Sunday, March 25th between 8:00am and 1:00pm; all vendor booths must be presentable by 2:00pm; NO EXCEPTIONS. If The Exhibitor fails to set up booth during the designated set up period, The Exhibitor forfeits their booth space. Any associations and or groups participating in the show, may have only 1-2 representatives to man their booth and is at discretion of The Century to allow or not allow said representatives.

The Exhibitor understands exhibits cannot be dismantled until after the closing hour of the show. Dismantling can begin at 7:00pm. 

Every exhibitor/vendor is asked to provide a door prize of at least the value of $25.00. Door prizes are to be kept at your table and brides will be directed back to your table during the show. Prizes must be tangible and not connected to any other offer.

Every exhibitor will be included in The Century VIP Card. The VIP Card will allow brides/grooms to redeem discounts at your place of business and/or service. Each VIP Card will have $500 worth of savings which can be redeemed in increments of $50 each. The Exhibitor can allow brides/grooms to redeem a minimum of $50 up to the entire VIP Card value of $500. Each time the bride/groom redeems a $50 value discount, The Exhibitor must be presented the VIP Card from the bride/groom and punch off that amount from the card. This card is your "call to action." It promotes prospects to seek your products and services. 

The show is being held to promote the use and sale of products and services of the bridal and related industries. The Century reserves the right to reject or prohibit any exhibit, proposed exhibit, or portion thereof, including without limitation, restriction of persons, articles, conduct, printed matter, signs and catalogs which, in its opinion, are not suitable or in keeping with the character and nature of the show.

The Exhibitor shall at its own expense maintain comprehensive general liability insurance, naming The Century & Doran Industries, LLC additional insured.

The Exhibitor shall be liable for all damages which they may cause to the building or facilities in connection with their exhibit. The Century assumes no risk and The Exhibitor releases The Century of and from any and all liability for any damage, injury or loss to any person representing The Exhibitor or The Exhibitor’s property which may arise from participating in the show. The Century assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any property placed in show and is expressly released and discharged from any and all liability from any damage or loss (when applicable).

The Exhibitor shall use only display space within his booth area. No decoration permitted exceeding eight feet in height. No article or matter shall violate any building or safety code then in effect. Excessive noise device is prohibited. Absolutely NO candles permitted in the vendor booths. If you would like to add candlelight to your booth, you must use LED candles. 

The show is limited solely to those persons or entities which have contracted and paid for exhibitor space in the show facility. Any person violating this rule will be promptly ejected from the exposition facility.

The Century agrees to provide The Exhibitor shortly after the show with a list of brides-to-be who had registered before or during the show. The Exhibitor agrees that this list is confidential and only for the use of The Exhibitor’s product or service being represented in The Exhibitor’s booth. The Exhibitor agrees not to make the list known or available to anyone else. Since it is difficult to determine the actual damage from such a breach of this agreement, The Exhibitor agrees to pay The Century an award of liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000.00 for each violation either directly or indirectly caused by the action of The Exhibitor. 

The Century reserves the right to alter the number of booth spaces in the exhibition hall, limit the number of Exhibitors in each business category and reserves the right to relocate Exhibitor from his contracted space to another location for the purpose of consolidating traffic flow. Floor plans are subject to change without notice.

Exhibitors who intend to distribute food and/or beverages during the show will be solely responsible for obtaining the proper licenses and paying the necessary fees, if required, to the appropriate city or county health departments. All food and beverages MUST be approved by The Century.
